Nullnest is an incremental tower defense where you’re defending a the core. A hole in the middle of the arena, and you’re less tower defense in the normal tower sense, and you’re guiding your cursor over monsters and eventually you add on more things that help kill more passively.

You’re going to fail a lot at first it seems, you’re just playing to collect currency to upgrade skills and get farther until you’re able to survive the first wave and start the second. Each wave is time-based, it’s just a matter of surviving with hp and then core will explode and wipe out the rest if you make it.

As you grind your way up, you unlock gems and this is how you customize your abilities. They drop randomly during waves and you upgrade them by merging them 4 at a time, 4 common into an uncommon, 4 uncommon into a rare, etc. The skill tree is just currency based and unlocking more power as you go.

Nullnest is slated to launch soon on November 16th. No price is listed, but you can still try out the demo.
